Kevin Dorsey, is a retired Sergeant of the Ypsilanti Police Department. He served admirably for 25 years as a sworn Law Enforcement Officer, which included service to the Detroit Police Department as well as Eastern Michigan University Public Safety. Since his retirement in 2012, he has been committed to learning and gaining experience in various facets of the security industry.
Currently, Kevin is a full-time employee of the Detroit Pistons Basketball Company. His sole assignment is providing Executive Protection and Executive Driving for the Pistons Vice Chairman / Part Owner, Arn Tellem. Kevin is also a sworn Special Deputy with the Wayne County Sheriff's Department. Additionally, Kevin is a member of the Detroit Lions Security Team, who often assign him to protect high level members of the Detroit Lions Football organization. Kevin also serves as primary Executive Protection for grammy nominated Motown recording artist, KEM (Kemistry Entertainment).
Dorsey Protection Services, LLC was established in late 2019 at the urging of several members of the business community, his family, colleagues and friends. The company has been blessed with many security opportunities over these few years. Every assignment, every detail and every client is important to us.
